«One of Us» is a song written by Eric Bazilian and originally released by Joan Osborne. Released in March 1995 on the album Relish, it became a Top 40 hit in November of that year. The song is the theme song for the American television series Joan of Arcadia. The song was nominated for three Grammys and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100, but Osborne was unable to repeat the success and is considered a one-hit wonder.

One Of Us
If ________________had a name, what would it be?
And would you call it to his ________________
If you were faced with Him in all His ________________?
What would you ask if you had just one ________________?
And yeah, yeah, God is ________________
Yeah, yeah, God is ________________
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if God was one of us?
Just a slob like one of us?
Just a ________________on the bus
Trying to make His way ________________
If God had a ________________, what would it look like
And would you want to ________________
If seeing meant that you would have to ________________
In things like _______ and in Jesus and the ________________
And all the Prophets? And…
Yeah, yeah, God is ________________
Yeah, yeah, God is ________________
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if God was one of us
Just a ________________like one of us
Just a stranger on the ________________
Trying to make His way home?
Just tryin’ to make His way ________________
Back up to ________________all alone
Nobody callin’ on the ________________
‘Cept for the ________________, maybe, in Rome
Yeah, yeah, God is ________________
Yeah, yeah, God is ________________
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if God was one of us
Just a slob like one of us
Just a ________________on the ________________
Trying to make His way home?
Like a ________________rolling stone
________________up to Heaven all alone
Just tryin’ to make His way ________________
Nobody callin’ on the ________________
‘Cept for the ________________, maybe, in Rome
